Let us share your special moment together and plan a beautiful, memorable event that will have lifetime of memories.

My passion for planning weddings came first from planning my own. I planned the entire wedding, with minimal planning assistance from Family, and friends. Most people would think of it as a stressful task, I thought of it as enchantment and excitement, which soon became a passion. It came so easily to me and the small details and organizational portions of the wedding is what I loved the most.  When most people feel anxiety, I thrive and take the opportunity to excel at my tasks. Several years later I decided that if I loved planning my own wedding so much, why not help others plan theirs and make it stress free for them too! It has given me the opportunity to work with couples and share the same excitement with them that I had while planning my wedding.

I have turned my passion and dream into a reality with the support of my husband, daughter, family and friends. I am originally from California, my husband is from Florida. We met in the middle and decided to live our lives and dreams here in Colorado. I have been in Colorado for 13 years and I met my husband while we both were aspiring athletes at The Olympic Training Center. We were hoping to become the next Olympians and while we never competed in an Olympics, we traveled the World, have amazing stories, made lifelong friends in many Countries, and accomplished numerous National and International feats. But most of all being an athlete has instilled in me the drive, dedication and mindset to successfully complete any task set before me. Having those qualities is everything it takes to be a successful wedding coordinator.

My professional experience began while I was finishing the Wedding and Event Planning Certification at Sheffield School. A friend came to me to tell me of her recent engagement. I told her I was in the midst of studying to become a wedding coordinator and would love to assist in the planning of her wedding. It was a perfect opportunity, as she was a bride that knew very little about the wedding world and I was a new entrepreneur wanting to start my own business. The knowledge I gained from working with her and her family was priceless. It helped me become even more organized and detail oriented. It provided me with the opportunity to make the acquaintance of other essential vendors in the business and opened many important doors for me in the world of wedding and event planning. Most importantly it taught me to listen to the Bride and Groom and understand what is important to them so that I am able to ensure it is expressed exactly as they envision their wedding day.

I am a graduate from The University of Colorado with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communication, a Certified Wedding Coordinator from Sheffield School based out of New York, as well as a member of various prestigious memberships within the Bridal community. As a special events expert, I provide you with a Client Service Industry foundation of more than 12 years recognized experience in efficient and worry-free event administration, client service, and vendor relationship management for individuals, families, government, non-profit, and Fortune 500 businesses. Together, I can see and build your event on that solid foundation, leaving you worry free to host and enjoy a memorable event.

My wedding was eight years ago and now my 4 year old daughter tells me that she wants to wear my wedding dress in her wedding. That is every mother’s dream...and it is moments like those that I want to turn into a reality for my little girl and every little girl on her wedding day. At times throughout the planning process you may feel as if you are just another couple in a long line of Brides and Grooms. However, at Sarah Viera Event Planning & Design, I will take care to ensure that you always feel valued. Rest assured your wedding day is as important to me as my own wedding day was.
