Does Chicago really need another bakery? If we were going to try to hawk the same sub-par baked goods as all those other bakeries, we certainly don't think so. What would be the point? But what if we had something new and fresh to offer?  Something that no other bakery in Chicago had?

This was our thinking a few years ago when we started to consider opening our own bakery. After many years of culinary school and working for other bakeries we decided to go for it!  We've spent quite some time perfecting recipes and creating that special something that other Chicago bakeries don't have. 

Cream Cake Co. is that rare gem of a bakery you don't find anymore. We specialize in unique, whimsical, modern custom cakes. You won't find French pastries or cakes shaped like purses or shoes or people here. If that's what you're looking for, then we're not the bakery for you.  What you will find are delicious, fresh baked goods reminiscent of what your grandmother made. All of our products are made with a whole lot of care because we know we're going to feed some very special people! Here at Cream Cake Co. we take a lot of pride in our products and would never serve you anything that we wouldn't serve our own family. Only our best is good enough. 

Cream Cake Co. is run by a husband and wife team who met in culinary school. We are proud to be family friendly employers, so when you call you may just hear one of our little ones in the background. You can rest assured that we appreciate how important your family is to you and we will bend over backwards to provide you with the best cakes for your occasion, just like we do for our own family.
