Photography as defined by Webster - the art or process of producing images … but photography is much more than that. It creates emotions, treasured memories you have long forgotten, or captured a moment that is magic. As a photographer I am blessed to have the ability to create those moments for others. Moments captured that will last a life time.
I fell in love with photography when I was 15…and it was by chance really. I borrowed a friend’s camera while camping with my father, and I was hooked ever since. I have been studying photography for the past 18 years and never grow weary from what I can learn. I studied photography formally at the Department of Defense School of Photography (now known as Defense Information School). My love and education of photography started before the dawn of the digital age and I have been blessed to photograph many people, cultures, and events around the world.
As a photographer my main goal is to be the “Fly on the Wall” and document that special occasion you have waited so long to have. I work to capture thought provoking, heart-felt images that show true emotion and who that person is. I try to create a balance between documentary and the artistry of an image. When you look at the photos that we created together, as I strongly believe this is a team effort, you will find that it is a treasure for your life time. |
